In partnership with various local government units, Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. (PCPPI)—the exclusive manufacturer of PepsiCo beverages in the country—continues to make positive strides in employee vaccination as it started distributing booster doses of COVID-19 vaccine to its people across its offices and plants nationwide. PCPPI president and Chief Executive Officer Frederick D. Ong said close to 30 percent of its employees have already received a booster shot of the vaccine since January of this year. The company also exceeded its regular, two-dose vaccination target, after achieving a 99.6-percent vaccination rate among its workforce. The booster vaccination drive is still part of the company’s “Great to be Safe” program, which aims to improve its employees’ immunity against COVID-19 and prevent serious illness and complications.
